The panels are made of two cold-formed aluminium alloy sheets, the assembly of which is guaranteed by the apposite bayonet joint with the aim of avoiding the use of screws. The cold-formed folded plate structure, with the function of bearing the soundabsorbing padding, has the standard dimensions equal to 2960 x 500 x 105 mm, painted or pre-painted with weather-resistant polyester resin.
The function of lowering the noise level with the aims of obtaining the best soundproofing characteristics in correspondence to the sources of the most disturbing noises is guaranteed by a panel in mineral f bres located centrally with respects to the folded plate structure, with a thickness of 60 mm and a density of 90/100 kg/m3. In the exposed part near the perforation, this panel will be supported by varnished f breglass which is water- resistant, siliconed so as to allow resistance and to withstand adverse weather conditions and ultra-violet rays. The front shell will necessarily be perforated with a full/empty ratio cual to about 33% of the surface, 10 mm diameter and 14 mm pitch, in order to enhance the soundabsorbent characteristics of the insert, whilst the rear shell will be made of a solid wall with the aim of creating an anti-noise barrier. The two shells are closed by means of the appropriate heading in polypropylene which ensures durability and resistance to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions; furthermore, a rubber sea¡ is fitted to the headings so as to obtain the utmost air-tightness between the panel and the bearing structure of the barrier itself.
All products permit good levels of acoustic isolation/absorption, by means of a careful and punctual evaluation of the environmental conditions and a relative choice of the most suitable materials.
The assembly and the subsequent maintenance result as being extremely easy to carry out thanks to the simple modular knuckle join system.
